There are 24 hours in a day.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday usually are working days.
Saturday and Sunday are not working days. They are meant for resting.
On bank holidays, people don't work. Bank holidays are usually related to religious events, for example the Assumption on the 15th of August. But they can also be related to historical events, for example the armistice on the 11th of November.
